Oregon Ducks Add Experienced Running Back via Transfer Portal
The Oregon Ducks have bolstered their 2026 backfield with the addition of Simeon Price, a powerful running back transfer from Colorado. With one year of eligibility remaining, Price brings depth and experience to the position, weighing in at 6-0, 215 pounds.
Despite missing the majority of the 2025 season due to an ankle injury, Price still managed to accumulate impressive stats in his previous stops at Coastal Carolina and Mississippi State. In what would have been his senior season with the Buffaloes, he carried the ball 21 times for 143 yards and two touchdowns. Originally a three-star recruit from Pensacola, Florida, Price was ranked as the No. 44 athlete in the country and No. 76 overall player in Florida by 247Sports in 2021.
Oregon's running back room now boasts a strong lineup, including redshirt senior Price, Jordon Davison, Dierre Hill Jr., Da'Jaun Riggs, Tradarian Ball, and Brandon Smith. This addition further strengthens the team's offensive capabilities, as Price joins a talented group of players.
