Roman Fury Dominates in Germany, Scoring a Knockout Victory!
Boxing fans, get ready for a recap of an action-packed night in Oberhausen, Germany! Roman Fury, the younger half-brother of the renowned Tyson Fury, secured a decisive victory, improving his record to 6-0 with 3 knockouts. This impressive win came in the fourth round against Hampshire journeyman Kevin Greenwood. The fight was part of the Agit Kabayel-Damian Knyba DAZN card held at the Rudolf Weber-Arena.
Fury's performance was nothing short of commanding. He maintained a calm demeanor, skillfully utilizing his southpaw jab to control the fight. He even drew blood from Greenwood's nose in the opening round, setting the tone for what was to come.
Greenwood, with a record of 6-12 and 1 KO, faced an uphill battle. Having been out of the sport from 2015 to 2023, he has unfortunately lost all seven of his fights since his return, including some bareknuckle bouts. With his father, John Fury, in his corner, Roman Fury was consistently a step ahead, delivering powerful shots from a distance and capitalizing on Greenwood's attempts to stay in the fight. The referee ultimately intervened in the fourth round, with Fury well in control.
But here's where it gets controversial... Greenwood's record shows a clear disadvantage going into the fight. Do you think the match was fair?
